Overview
In 2003, ClearLead developed artificial intelligence (AI) to track and bid on millions of keywords on multiple search engines. We quickly found that our technology was easily outperforming all of the marketing agencies – by both lowering click costs and capturing prospects at the precise moment that they were ready to purchase. That’s when we began to re-think the traditional search engine marketing (SEM) business model.

The ROI Breakthrough
SEM agencies charge you for clicks, plus an additional 15% management fee (and usually an additional $1,000 setup fee for each ad campaign). There is no incentive for them to drive the cost-per-click down, nor is there any incentive for them to increase your conversion rate (the percentage of clicks that results in new customers).
